| 350g of assorted mushrooms |
| 4 smoked bacon rashers, cooked |
| 2 tablespoons of cream cheese |
| 1 large white onion |
| 1 garlic clove, crushed |
| Oil & butter to fry |
| Salt & Pepper |
| Fresh herbs of your choice |
| Step | Description |

| 1 | Sauté the chopped onion, garlic and mushrooms in a hot pan with some butter and oil until coloured |
| 2 | Season the mix well, then add the chopped fresh herbs and pop into a food processor with the cooked bacon |
| 3 | Proceed to blend to achieve a relatively smooth mix |
| 4 | Allow to cool, then add in the cream cheese and mix well |
| 5 | Serve the cooled paté on hot buttered toasts – delicious! |
