Chicken Fingers (toddlers 18 months plus)

These are a tasty finger food and your toddler will be especially impressed if you give them a little bowl of tomato ketchup to dunk their chicken pieces into.

Ingredients
Ingredients for 2 portions:
1 oz plain flour
1 chicken breast fillet
1 small egg, beaten
1 ½ oz cornflakes crushed
2 tablespoon vegetable oil

Step Description
1 Spread the flower on a clean surface and roll the chicken pieces in it until they are covered.
2 Dip the chicken pieces in the beaten egg and then roll in the crushed cornflakes.
3 Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the chicken on each side for about 5 minutes over a medium heat.
4 When crunchy on the outside and cooked through, they are ready to serve – but make sure to leave them cool adequately before giving to your toddler.
