1st March 2010. Staff and management at Caulfield’s SuperValu store in the HyperCentre are in line for a windfall of their own after the store sold one of the weekend’s wining Lotto tickets. The jackpot for Saturday 27th Lotto Draw was €5.6million and two winners emerged, one in Galway and one still to be confirmed, but there is speculation that it a local Waterford person who will scoop the other €2.8 million The €12 play ticket holder selected their own numbers on Saturday in the store and has not yet been in contact with the National Lottery to claim their winnings.The Caulfield’s SuperValu store will now receive a Bonus Payment from the National Lottery and Caulfield’s Director Thomas Caulfield said they would be delighted to distribute the bonus amongst the staff and management in the store. Thomas Caulfield, “We are delighted to have a winning Lotto ticket sold in our Waterford store and hope that it’s a local customer who takes the €2.8 million. The store bonus will be shared between the 70 management and staff at Caulfield’s in the Hypercentre so its good news all around!”
